UGC Program pays you weekly. Every Sunday at 23:59 UTC, the pool of posts you made over the past week (whose 48h holds have cleared) releases to your balance. Stripe Connect Express then forwards to your bank on whatever schedule you have set.

Posts on creator-posts campaigns settle on the per-post rate. Posts on brand-posts campaigns settle on a per-delivered-video rate. Both ride the same weekly Sunday rhythm.

The weekly cycle

Post on Monday and the 48h hold clears Wednesday afternoon. The video sits in "cleared hold, pending settlement" until the next Sunday boundary. Friday and Saturday posts whose holds straddle Sunday roll into the following week's pool.

From your balance, Stripe Connect Express transfers to your bank at whichever cadence you choose on /earnings (Daily, Weekly, or Monthly). Daily is the default.

The 48-hour hold

Every post enters a 48-hour hold from the moment it goes live. The hold lets brands review the live post and raise a dispute if it misses the brief, breaks brand safety, or shows the wrong product. Most disputes are caught and resolved during the hold.

Releases happen weekly, not daily, so brand cashflow, settlement, and your Stripe payout share the same rhythm. It also avoids you receiving seven tiny transfers per week.

Per-post status meanings

  • In hold. 48 hours has not yet passed since the post went live. The hold clears automatically.
  • Cleared hold, pending settlement. 48h passed, waiting for the next Sunday boundary. Amount is committed and uncontestable except via dispute.
  • Released. Amount has landed in your balance. Stripe Connect forwards to your bank on schedule.
  • In dispute. Brand raised an issue during the hold. Funds stay in your envelope until resolution: if upheld in your favour, funds release next Sunday; if not, they claw back.

If the brand cancels you

  • End of week, no cause. Current week pays out normally at the next Sunday boundary. No bonus, no penalty. Slot ends after that week.
  • Mid-week, no cause. Brand owes you a 50% kill fee on every approved-unposted video. Automatic, lands in your next weekly pool.
  • For cause. Brand raises a dispute citing brief violation, brand safety, or quality. If resolved in your favour the kill fee applies; if not, funds claw back and you receive a strike.

If you cancel

You can stop applying to new weeks any time by messaging the brand. Stopping mid-week without cause forfeits approved-unposted videos and earns a strike. If you have a real reason (brand pivoted, brief changed, you got sick), raise a dispute first; the strike will be attributed to the brand or marked inconclusive.

Strike system reference

Two strikes inside a single campaign removes you automatically. Strikes only count when fault is attributed to you (no submission, no post, ghosted, mid-week cancel, repeated buffer gaps).

Strikes are not issued for:

  • A one-off quota miss when you submitted in good faith.
  • Brand inaction (the auto-approve at 48h SLA protects you here).
  • Brand-initiated cancellations of any kind.
  • Disputes resolved as inconclusive or in your favour.

How to get paid

Set up Stripe Connect Express via Settings → Payment and tax. You need a UK bank account (or local equivalent), an ID document, and your tax address. Takes around five minutes; you only do it once.

Until Stripe Connect is verified, earnings collect in your balance but cannot transfer to your bank. The dashboard prompts you to complete verification when payouts are pending.
